Nano’s Towing and Recovery is a towing and recovery business serving Albertson, Goldsboro, Beulaville and surrounding communities in North Carolina. What we collect
Information you give us
- Our contact form: your name (optional), phone number, pickup location (optional) and service (optional).
- Junk-car form: your name, phone number and/or email, vehicle year, make, model, location, condition, asking price, vehicle photo and anything else you choose to send.
- Calls and emails: your phone number or email address and whatever you choose to tell us.
Information collected automatically

Where your request came from: when you send the form, it also sends the page you sent it from and this website’s address.

Server logs: our hosting provider records standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site running and secure.
How we use it
- To reply to your request and talk with you about the work.
- To provide the services you hire us for.
- To prevent spam and abuse, and to meet our legal obligations.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it for anyone else's marketing.
How our contact form works
Swift Sites builds and manages this website for us and runs its contact form. When you send the form, it goes to Swift Sites' form service on Vercel, which stores your request in a database (Neon) and emails it to us through Resend. An automated check reads each request to spot spam. It sees your name, your message, the part of your email address after the @, and whether you gave a phone number, but not the number itself. Swift Sites can see requests so it can keep the form working and make sure yours reaches us.
Vehicle photos are stored in private Vercel Blob storage. We check and resize the photo and remove embedded location metadata before storing it. Our enquiry email contains a signed photo link that expires seven days after you start your enquiry; anyone with that link can view the photo until it expires. Link expiry does not automatically delete the stored photo. Photos are not published in a public gallery.
Who we share it with
We share information only with companies that help us run this website and our business, and only for that purpose:
- Swift Sites builds and manages this website and runs its contact form.
- Vercel hosts the website and the form service, and stores vehicle photos privately through Vercel Blob. The spam check uses an AI model reached through Vercel's AI Gateway.
- Neon stores contact form requests.
- Resend delivers the emails the contact form sends.
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers or others.
Analytics and cookies
This site doesn't use analytics, and it doesn't set cookies to track you or show you ads.
How long we keep it
We keep contact form requests and our messages with you for as long as we need them to respond, to work with you and to keep reasonable business records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Children
This website isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, such as encrypted connections and limited access, to protect your information. No website or email system is completely secure, so please don't send sensitive information such as payment card numbers through the form.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
