When moving the vehicle takes more than a tow
A vehicle in a ditch, soft ground or an awkward position needs its recovery planned before it can be transported. Tell us what happened, how the vehicle is sitting and what’s around it. We’ll work out what it takes to get it out.
Vehicle position matters as much as its make and model. Mention a steep slope, nearby obstacles, damage, locked wheels or limited access. Photos may help explain a situation, but take them only from a safe position.
We get it out first, then we load it
A recovery starts with a look at the access, the ground and the vehicle’s condition. From there we work out which way to pull it and where it can be brought to be loaded.
Don’t tie a rope to just any part of the vehicle or have another driver yank it out without a plan. A hurried attempt can make the vehicle harder to recover. If someone has already tried, tell us; it changes the plan.
Plan the recovery and the tow in one call
Let us know whether the vehicle needs to go to a repair shop or somewhere else once it’s out. If it’s already on the road and easy to reach, see our towing service. We take jobs in Albertson, Goldsboro and Beulaville. Our auto wrecker guide explains recovery and transport in more detail.
Quick answers before you call.
Can you help with a stuck vehicle?
Yes. Call and describe the vehicle, how it’s sitting and the ground around it. We’ll plan the recovery with you before anything is arranged.
What if the wheels are damaged?
Mention the damage and whether the wheels can turn. Loading and recovery plans need to account for parts that cannot move normally.
Will the vehicle need towing afterward?
That depends on its condition and where it is recovered. Have a destination ready so we can plan the recovery and the tow together.
